Carrot mango chutney is spicy and tangy in taste. Sweetness of carrots and tangy mango will give special taste to this chutney. It goes well with rice.To savour your tastebuds let’s go in to the recipe.

INGREDIENTS:
Carrot- 1
Raw mango- half
Chilli powder- 1 1/2 tsp
Salt- 1 tsp
Turmeric- a pinch
Oil- 1 tbsp
Garlic – 3 to 4
Fenugreek seeds powder- 1/4 th tsp
Tempering:
Gram Dal- 1/2 tsp
Urad Dal- 1/4 tsp
Mustard seeds- 1/2 tsp
Cumin seeds- 1/4 th tsp
Asafoetida a pinch
Curry leaves few
PROCEDURE:
1. Wash and peel carrots. Grate carrot and keep aside.
2. Peel mango and grate.
3. Mix grated carrot, mango ,chilli powder, garlic, salt, turmeric and fenugreek powder.. mix well.
Seasoning:
4. In a pan heat 1 tsp oil and add urad dal, gram Dal, mustard seeds and curry leaves finally asafoetida.
5. Let seasoning cool.
6. Mix seasoning in to the chutney .
7. Serve with hot rice and ghee.
